Let Me Explain::

Tragedy struck the apartment block where I live in Magaluf, Mallorca last Thursday, June 11, 2026 at around 5 am. A fire broke out on floor 3 directly 3 floors below my apartment. My flatmate and I were rescued by firefighters, sadly 2 other residents weren’t so lucky and my thoughts are with the families of the victims who died from smoke inhalation.

All residents in our block have been put up in local hotels in the short term until specialist cleaners, electricians, structural engineers and plumbers can gain access to the building.

This means I cannot gain access to my apartment and my home studio, but I am grateful to be here and well.
