So yesterday morning I’m up at the crack of dawn as usual, I love getting all the audio needed for my radio show edited and uploaded to dropbox as soon as possible so I can chill for a while before heading off to the studio. I noticed that my PC that is as the heart of my Home Studio set up was starting to become a bit ‘laggy!’ I managed to get everything uploaded but by the time I was trying to send the daily Facebook post for the stations page, it was nigh on impossible. I ended up using my back-up computer, which is fine for that but has no audio editing capabilities.
After the show, I got home and immediately set about trying to fix the faulty PC but by now it was booting and shutting down straight away. A quick message to my computer tech guy, who built the system about 6 years or so ago, and he arranged to pick it up that evening.
It means that I’m going to have to replay a few of the ‘Bits’ on my show today (and maybe longer) that have already been broadcast.
